On Wednesday night, the Sox won their first World Series in 88 years. That's longer than the Red Sox much ballyhooed streak, but still less than the Cubs, who now seem much more bearable. The media coverage of this achievement will never match that of either of those teams, nor should it. If this post season taught me anything, it's that the Sox are strictly regional, specifically for people in the know. And of course, that's the definition of cool.

Chicago PD: stomping out a good time since 1805. (btw, cpd: FU. I'd love to see this on Sheffield.)
"Wait, Dad. Your car's that way."
Back to the grind.
