Sleepy Time in West Lakeview

Daylight savings time strikes again, and at this point, it could easily be called "Feel Like an Alcoholic Time" (FLAT). I went out and only had two measily Bud Lights and still, I got to bed at "3:30" and woke up at "ten to one". Granted, I could've gotten up at nine with my alarm, watched "Meet the Press", gone jogging. But I also could have run for High School class president, it just didn't happen.

The most damning thing about Daylight Savings is that the hour you gain or lose is never really gained or lost. In the fall, you're just getting back that hour that they stole from you in the Spring. And in the Spring, you're just paying for that hour spent warm and cozy: safe, in the comfort of your doovay. My roommate told me thought it was always on Easter, and I think he's on to something. America should be made to rise early for the risen Christ. Or at least Palm Sunday...what if Jesus rode all the way to Jerusalem and nobody was there? Boy, I can just imagine.....

"I rode all the way here on a fuckin' donkey and ain't nobody showed? What, ya'll too TIRED? Did I WAKE you? Put them palms on the motherfuckin' ground, motherfucker!"
